Album Notes & Community Reviews
The San Francisco avant-garde collective further refined their bizarre, theatrical fusion of post-punk and dark cabaret on their sophomore record. 'Desire' weaves erratic drum machines and minimal synthesizers with haunting saxophone and violin, creating a highly abstract, incredibly mysterious, and intensely anxious atmosphere that feels entirely hypnotic.
