As the concluding chapter to the band's multi-album narrative arc, 'Breach' merges alternative rock and pop with electronic textures and hip-hop elements, co-produced with Paul Meany and Mike Elizondo. The songwriting features lyrical and sonic callbacks to previous works, alongside experimental arrangements and tempo changes, notably including drummer Josh Dun's first lead vocal performance.
