Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Swedish septet bursts onto the power metal scene with a wildly theatrical, unapologetically bombastic debut album heavily inspired by classic high-fantasy role-playing games. 'Tales of Ancient Prophecies' perfectly balances lightning-fast, neoclassical guitar shredding with massive, highly orchestrated symphonic arrangements and soaring, operatic vocal melodies. The record is a profoundly energetic, wonderfully playful, and fiercely uplifting fantasy epic.
