Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as their major-label debut, this incredibly loud and defiant sophomore album perfectly captured the transition of the Long Island bar-band legends into national metal heroes. 'You Can't Stop Rock 'n' Roll' blends incredibly heavy, driving NWOBHM-inspired riffs with undeniably catchy, highly anthemic pop choruses and Dee Snider's fierce vocal delivery. The accompanying music videos laid the vital groundwork for the theatrical visual style that would soon dominate the hair metal explosion.
