Andrew Weatherall and Keith Tenniswood dramatically shift their electronic project away from IDM toward gritty, distorted dance-punk. The abrasive, rhythmically rigid album heavily incorporates live bass guitars and heavily processed, snarling vocals, evoking the sleazy, nocturnal energy of early 1980s post-punk.
