Lemons
by Ty Segall
The second solo album by the prolific Californian rocker is a blistering, incredibly raw explosion of lo-fi garage punk. Drowning his 1960s pop-inspired melodies in layers of harsh fuzz and tape distortion, the artist delivers frantic, high-energy bursts of noise that rarely exceed the two-minute mark. It is heavily recognized as a foundational release for the modern West Coast surf-punk revival.
