Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Manipulator' stands as Ty Segall's magnum opus of glam-soaked garage rock, a sprawling double album that tightens his songwriting without sacrificing his signature fuzz. Bursting with kaleidoscopic energy, the record blends the stomping rhythms of T. Rex with the melodic sensibilities of late-60s psych-pop. It is a dense, exhilarating ride through guitar solos and catchy hooks, showcasing Segall at the peak of his prolific powers.
