Album Notes & Community Reviews

Seeking to break into the lucrative American radio market, the NWOBHM stalwarts significantly polished their sound and introduced vocalist Jon Deverill. The album integrates prominent keyboards and highly melodic, AOR-leaning hooks alongside their signature driving riffs, yielding a successful cover of 'Love Potion No. 9'. Despite becoming their best-selling record, internal tensions over this commercial direction led to the band's temporary dissolution shortly after its release.
