Don't Tap the Glass

Album Notes & Community Reviews

As his shortest studio album, 'Don't Tap the Glass' finds Tyler, the Creator shifting from narrative introspection to rhythmic immediacy, crafting a concise record singularly devoted to physical movement. The album's thematic core is a response to social media-era self-consciousness, urging listeners to dance without fear of being filmed. Solely produced by Tyler, the ten tracks are a dense and energetic fusion of house, funk, techno, and various hip-hop subgenres, characterized by vibrant synth work, heavy bass, and eclectic samples.
