Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Wolf' serves as a cinematic transition in Tyler, The Creator's career, moving away from the shock-rap of his debut toward a more lush, jazz-inflected production style. The album centers on a camp-themed narrative following the characters Wolf, Sam, and Salem, exploring themes of celebrity, fatherhood, and teenage angst. Its colorful, self-produced arrangements established Tyler as a formidable composer within the alternative hip hop landscape.
