White Lighter

Album Notes & Community Reviews

'White Lighter' serves as the breakout fourth studio album from the expansive Portland-based indie rock ensemble, Typhoon. Facing severe battles with Lyme disease, frontman Kyle Morton channels his harrowing brushes with mortality into lush, horn-and-string-drenched chamber pop arrangements. The record's orchestral scope and deeply introspective lyricism solidified the group's standing within the Pacific Northwest's independent music scene.
