Verisimilitude

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The critically acclaimed studio album from the American composer and percussionist masterfully blurs the lines between contemporary classical composition and free jazz improvisation. Tracking with a trio consisting of piano, bass, and his own intricate drum work, the music focuses heavily on sustained silence, slow-building tension, and incredibly precise, delicate instrumental interplay. The record is a challenging, highly rewarding study in acoustic minimalism.
