Album Notes & Community Reviews

The second album from American musician April Harper Grey is a concept album set in the fictional town of Wallsocket, Michigan. The narrative follows the lives of three young women navigating the complexities of adulthood, exploring themes of class resentment, gun violence, and corporatization. A significant step up in budget and scope from her debut, the album was promoted not only with singles but also with an alternate reality game involving websites related to the fictional town.
