Barbara Barbara, We Face a Shining Future

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Overcoming a period of severe creative stagnation, the legendary British dance duo returns with a remarkably concise, deeply melodic seventh album. Co-produced with High Contrast, the record features Karl Hyde's stream-of-consciousness poetry floating over lush, mid-tempo house grooves and acoustic instrumentation. It was widely acclaimed as their strongest, most emotionally resonant work since their 1990s zenith, earning a Grammy nomination.
