Album Notes & Community Reviews

The New York industrial-punk outfit integrates a live drummer (Mike Sharp) into their sound for the first time, replacing their signature mechanized drum machine. The result is a profoundly heavy, thrashing collision of sludge metal and noise rock, amplifying the sheer physical violence of their music. Frontman Michael Berdan delivers harrowing, misanthropic lyrics tackling themes of severe addiction and spiritual decay.
