Album Notes & Community Reviews

On their second album 'II', Unknown Mortal Orchestra refines their lo-fi psychedelic sound into more melancholic and soulful territory. Ruban Nielson's intricate guitar playing and muffled vocals create a hazy, intimate atmosphere that explores themes of loneliness and isolation. It is a warm, sun-drenched record that perfectly balances catchy pop melodies with a distinctively distorted, bedroom-recorded aesthetic.
