Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded across various global locales including Seoul, Reykjavik, and Hanoi, Ruban Nielson's fourth album significantly broadens the band's signature lo-fi psychedelic sound. The project seamlessly integrates heavily distorted guitar rock with exceptionally smooth, Prince-indebted funk grooves and incredibly hazy, introspective lyricism. It acts as a fascinating, culturally expansive sonic travelogue grappling with profound modern anxieties and technological isolation.
