Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a significant stylistic pivot for the Washington D.C. trio, this release fully abandons their earlier chaotic punk roots for meticulously arranged, minimalist indie pop. Mark Robinson's idiosyncratic, ringing guitar work and heavily repetitive song structures clearly anticipate the polished, highly focused sound of their subsequent 4AD releases.
