Album Notes & Community Reviews
Heralded widely as a massive return to form for the enduring British rock veterans, 'Sea of Light' brilliantly recaptures the classic, organ-heavy majesty of Uriah Heep's legendary 1970s output. The album leans heavily into highly melodic, progressive rock song structures, largely shedding the polished AOR aesthetics that characterized their 1980s work. It effectively rejuvenated their dedicated European fanbase during the challenging alternative rock era.
