Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally intended as a Peter Hammill solo album, this debut is noticeably more acoustic and gentler than the incredibly dark, saxophone-heavy masterpieces that followed. 'The Aerosol Grey Machine' is a wonderfully cryptic, deeply melodic early progressive rock record, blending slightly ominous, fiercely poetic psychedelic folk with cold, surreal fantasy.
