Album Notes & Community Reviews
Van Halen achieved their absolute commercial zenith by seamlessly integrating the massive, polyphonic synthesizer riffs of 'Jump' into their swaggering, hedonistic hard rock. Eddie Van Halen's blistering guitar pyrotechnics perfectly balance David Lee Roth's hyper-energetic, sexually charged showmanship across a slew of inescapable arena anthems. The album is a profoundly playful, melodic, and defining blockbuster of 80s pop-metal.
