Album Notes & Community Reviews

Returning to a more accessible, rhythm-and-blues-oriented sound after a string of highly introspective, jazz-leaning albums, the legendary Belfast songwriter experienced a notable critical resurgence. The energetic, horn-driven arrangements perfectly frame his consistently soulful, emotive vocal delivery.
