Album Notes & Community Reviews
Eschewing the more sprawling, Celtic mysticism of his past, the legendary Northern Irish songwriter delivered a remarkably straightforward, nostalgic set. The impeccably tight, largely acoustic arrangements pay direct homage to the mid-century blues, country, and early R&B records of his youth.
