Album Notes & Community Reviews

Compiled from triumphant 1973 performances in Los Angeles and London, this sweeping double album perfectly frames Van Morrison's fiery blend of Celtic folk-rock and deeply orchestrated American soul. Backed by the massive Caledonia Soul Orchestra, the performances entirely avoid studio overdubbing to preserve the majestic, unvarnished electricity of the concerts.
