Album Notes & Community Reviews
The legendary Belfast songwriter released this sprawling, highly controversial double album amidst intense public backlash regarding his stance on COVID-19 lockdowns. Musically rooted in standard, mid-tempo R&B and blues rock shuffles, the record is overwhelmingly dominated by his bitter, conspiratorial lyricism attacking the media, government regulations, and modern society. It was widely panned by critics as an overly long, profoundly cynical detour.
