Album Notes & Community Reviews

Returning explicitly to the rhythm and blues foundations of his youth, the legendary Belfast singer-songwriter delivers an energetic, brass-heavy collection. The album features notable collaborations with John Lee Hooker and highly stylized interpretations of classic blues standards, marking a departure from the deeply mystical balladry of his preceding releases.
