Album Notes & Community Reviews

The veteran Northern Irish songwriter's first release on the legendary Blue Note label finds him effortlessly sliding into a sophisticated, jazz-inflected groove. The album is a remarkably relaxed, highly authentic exploration of classic rhythm and blues, featuring a mix of original compositions and traditional covers sung with his signature soulful, weathered delivery.
