Album Notes & Community Reviews
Conceived as a musical exploration of the micro-organic interactions within the earth, this sprawling electronic suite is one of Vangelis' most complex and abstract works. Eschewing recognizable melodies, the Greek composer utilizes the Yamaha CS-80 and early digital synthesizers to create turbulent, unpredictable sonic landscapes. It is a challenging, deeply atmospheric highlight of his mid-80s output.
