Album Notes & Community Reviews
The acclaimed producer orchestrates a staggering, deeply unconventional tribute to the compositions of Charles Mingus. Employing an absurdly eclectic roster including Keith Richards, Chuck D, Leonard Cohen, and Diamanda Gal谩s playing custom Harry Partch instruments, the album is a shadowy, surrealistic reimagining of Mingus's legendary jazz catalog.
