Album Notes & Community Reviews

Propelled by energetic female vocal harmonies and traditional acoustic instrumentation, the Finnish ensemble delivers a lively reimagining of ancient Karelian and Finno-Ugric traditions. 'Aitara' balances the complex phrasing of rune singing with an accessible, highly melodic pastoral warmth.
