The Queen of Guess

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Deeply embedded in the British underground experimental scene, the collective relies entirely on ecstatic, long-form improvisation to generate massive, swirling clouds of psychedelic drone. Utilizing a chaotic array of acoustic and homemade instruments processed through heavy delay and distortion, they construct incredibly hypnotic, transcendent walls of sound. It is a wildly immersive, highly sensory experience defining the modern freak-folk movement.
