Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Michael Stipe, the Athens, Georgia songwriter's third album offers a harrowing, remarkably intimate collection of stripped-down Americana. Chesnutt's frail, idiosyncratic vocal delivery and minimalist acoustic arrangements serve as a poignant vehicle for his dark, deeply observant storytelling.
