Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by R.E.M.'s Michael Stipe, the Athens, Georgia songwriter's debut album is a masterclass in stark, unadorned vulnerability. The incredibly sparse, acoustic arrangements place the focus entirely on his idiosyncratic, philosophically profound, and darkly humorous lyrical observations.
