Album Notes & Community Reviews

Backed by the critically acclaimed Americana outfit Lambchop functioning as his studio band, the revered Georgia songwriter crafted one of his most lushly arranged projects. The collaboration frames Chesnutt's trembling, deeply vulnerable vocals and dark Southern Gothic character studies within warm, brass-laden country-soul orchestration.
