Album Notes & Community Reviews
Continuing their highly fruitful partnership, 'From All Sides' perfectly marries Vince Guaraldi's light, swinging piano touch with the masterful, rhythmic acoustic guitar playing of Brazilian virtuoso Bola Sete. The album drifts effortlessly between upbeat samba-jazz numbers and gentle bossa nova ballads, completely avoiding commercial clich茅s. It remains one of the most joyous, organically collaborative Latin jazz records of the era.
