Album Notes & Community Reviews
Revisiting the beloved themes he composed for the Peanuts television specials, the pianist reinterprets his own iconic material with a fresh ensemble. 'Oh, Good Grief!' introduces electric harpsichord into the traditional jazz trio format, giving classics like 'Linus and Lucy' a distinctive late-60s shimmer. The record stands as a playful yet sophisticated expansion of his pioneering animated soundtrack work.
