Album Notes & Community Reviews

Predating the internet-driven cloud rap movement by several years, Viper's 'Heartless Hoodlum' is a bizarrely prophetic piece of underground Houston hip-hop. The self-produced record features incredibly lethargic flows, off-kilter drum programming, and woozy, hypnagogic sample chops. It eventually garnered a massive online cult following for its unintentional, outsider-art genius.
