Initially an incredibly obscure underground CD-R release, Lee Carter's eccentric blend of woozy synthesizers and pitch-shifted, lethargic vocals retroactively gained massive cult status. The bizarre, lo-fi production style is now recognized as a foundational touchstone for the entire internet-era cloud rap movement. It is a surreal, deeply hypnotic outsider hip-hop artifact.
