Album Notes & Community Reviews

The sophomore effort from the New York heavy metal outfit pushes their sound into grander, more aggressively melodic territories. 'Guardians of the Flame' is driven by the dynamic tension between David DeFeis's operatic vocals and Jack Starr's razor-sharp guitar work. The album serves as an early, crucial building block for the epic, neoclassical style of United States power metal.
