Album Notes & Community Reviews

Considered a turning point for the band, this release fully embraced classical influences and grand, theatrical song structures. The soaring vocals of David DeFeis combined with anthemic guitar riffs helped define the emerging US power metal sound. It remains a hallmark of epic heavy metal from the mid-1980s.
