Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced predominantly by Ryuichi Sakamoto, Astley's profoundly elegant sophomore release merges pastoral English chamber pop with pristine digital synthesizers. The resulting soundscape is an incredibly lush, wintery exploration of dream pop, featuring a notable vocal duet with David Sylvian that highlights the record's sophisticated, ambient-leaning melancholia.
