Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut album by Belgian duo Vive la f锚te, 'Attaque surprise' pairs former dEUS bassist Danny Mommens with vocalist Els Pynoo in French-language synthpop built from kitsch electroclash rhythm and guitar. The group began as a home studio project, recording eight-track demos before expanding to a full band for performance, and the album's trashy, fashion-conscious pop set the template for their subsequent records.
