Unbecoming

Album Notes & Community Reviews

On her debut for The Flenser, the Kentucky-based artist perfects her signature blend of heavy and ethereal sounds. 'Unbecoming' is a dense and deeply atmospheric work, masterfully fusing the patient, lethargic drift of slowcore with massive, noisy walls of shoegaze and doomgaze guitar. It's a hypnotic, melancholic, and crushingly beautiful journey into the nocturnal heart of 'heaven metal'.
