Blitzkrieg

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Formed in Mönchengladbach, the band delivered a thunderous debut characterized by relentless, classically trained keyboard assaults and sprawling symphonic structures. Jürgen Dollase's dominant Mellotron and piano work drive the four extended compositions, occasionally veering into harsh, space-rock improvisations. Despite the aggressive title, the music is an intricate and deeply progressive take on the burgeoning krautrock sound.
