Album Notes & Community Reviews
Introducing a wholly unique voice on the vibraphone, 'This Is Walt Dickerson!' abandons the traditional rapid-fire technique for a more spacious, texturally driven post-bop approach. His inventive mallet work creates a slightly dissonant, highly atmospheric soundscape that set him apart from his contemporaries.
