Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following up on massive mainstream success, the Los Angeles-based collective broadened their stylistic palette, incorporating expansive, Latin-infused jazz-funk improvisations alongside their signature laid-back grooves. The record balances highly accessible, conscious soul anthems like 'Gypsy Man' with sprawling, psychedelic instrumental passages that showcase the group's formidable musical chemistry. It represents a mature, deeply nuanced phase of their commercially dominant period.
