Album Notes & Community Reviews

A massive commercial achievement, 'Why Can't We Be Friends?' perfectly captured WAR's laid-back, inclusive blend of funk, R&B, and Latin street music. Propelled by the inescapable title track and the low-riding anthem 'Low Rider,' the album effectively balances infectious, sunny grooves with poignant urban social commentary.
