Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut solo outing from Converge frontman Jacob Bannon pivots away from intense metallic hardcore into dark, sprawling post-rock and melancholic doomgaze. The tracking utilizes slow-moving, distorted guitar chords, delicate piano lines, and his own strained, emotional singing voice, far removed from his signature hardcore screams. The record provides a deeply vulnerable, atmospheric exploration of grief and personal struggle.
