Album Notes & Community Reviews

Conceived as a tribute to Billie Holiday, the cornetist delivers an intensely poignant, lyrical set heavily indebted to the restrained phrasing of Miles Davis. The slow tempos and brooding atmosphere allow for deeply emotive, minimalist solos that prioritize tone and space.
