Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging from the incredibly fertile Asheville, North Carolina independent rock scene, the quintet crafted a brilliant, fuzzy collision of 90s shoegaze, alternative rock, and twangy alt-country. Karly Hartzman's incredibly vivid, darkly humorous narratives of southern decay and lethargy sit perfectly atop massive, distorted guitar riffs and screeching feedback. The breakout record firmly positioned them as a vital new force in modern American guitar rock.
